About Prambanan

Near Borobudur is the Prambanan, a Hillman Wonders silver medalist.

Some facts:

Age
Hindu religious devotees built this majestic 240-temple complex roughly 1000 years ago.

Height
The tallest individual temple was as high as a 15-story building.

Name
Today, the temple complex is collectively known in the tourism world as the Prambanan Temple but its correct name is the Lara Longgrang Temple.

Condition
It still stands, as do a number of other high temples, all sharing a similar design (see photo).
