tips you can trust
The 4 major dining venues
Collectively, these restaurants give you a refreshing change of pace in menus and ambiances. And all four boast big-window sea views.
Discoveries
It's the main and by far largest of the restaurants. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are waiter served. Decor is warmly stylish with comfortable arm chairs. Tables (except for most two-tops) are well spaced. Seating is open - dine when, where, and with whom you please. The menu is extensive and featured dishes change daily.
Aqualina
Along with Prime C, it is one of the ship's two specialty restaurants. Both venues are open only for dinner, tack on a $15 surcharge (a bargain considering the quality), and require reservations. Aqualina's primary culinary focus is Mediterranean fare, though its menu goes beyond. The decor is refined feminine style.
Prime C
It has a masculine steakhouse decor (traditional dark wood paneling) and features grilled steaks and chops including filet mignon, prime rib, and veal chops.
Windows Cafe
This buffet restaurant is open for all three meals and offers many selections, sometimes with an ethnic theme. You can sit indoors along the windows or on the alfresco rear deck (my favorite of the two). Reservations are not accepted.
Complimentary house wines
This buffet restaurant is open for all three meals and offers many selections, sometimes with an ethnic theme. You can sit indoors along the windows or on the alfresco rear deck (my favorite of the two). Reservations are not accepted.
Menu selection advice
Generally, meat dishes fare better than seafood ones. Delightful exceptions include the broiled lobster and Aqualina's bouillabaisse soup.
