It's the narrow deck fronting the deck 11 Observation Lounge. This teak-floored space sits directly over the ship's bridge, giving you a captain's panoramic vantage. Few passengers know this tip.
Ones located between the forward and aft elevator banks (view deck plans) put you steps away from both elevator banks, therefore close to most ship venues.
Some tables along the railing directly above the pool deck provide clear views of the BBQ's entertainment show.
If you seek a quiet place away from the swimming pool, take advantage of the loungers located along the low-traffic side decks. The side facing away from the sun is ideal for those wanting to avoid solar rays.
There are also romantic two-person loungers on the Panoramic Lounge deck.
The Observation Lounge is a quiet place to read your book. Chairs are comfortable and the room is often empty or sparsely occupied.
This goes for the reservation-required dining venues:
La Terrazza
La
Champagne
Seishin
Hot Rocks
Stars
Should a restaurant you desire be fully booked, put your name on the waiting list as cancellations sometimes occur. You can also drop by a restaurant at mealtime to check if they have a last-minute availability. Note: The Restaurant (ship's main dining room) doesn't take reservations, so just drop by when you're ready.
Silversea Cruises typically has three formal nights for long, two for mid-length, and one for short cruises. For men, a tuxedo is the most accepted route, though a dark suit with a conservative tie fits in. The other nights are either informal (for men, think jacket and possibly a tie) and casual nights (think quality resort wear).
Women have greater flexibility, as long as their outfits coincide with the above dress codes.
