With
16 guest units, the Forest Lodge is one of Phinda's two "large" lodges.
Those
suites have dramatic window views. Their floor-to-ceiling, wrap-around glass
walls psychologically bring the forest into your living and sleeping areas (see
my above-left photo).
The
sylvan atmosphere engenders a restful, serene mood as you sit looking out from
your furnished veranda.
Because
of the close-by forest, you don't get the open views from the suites as much as
you do in other Phinda lodges.
However,
game viewing is rewarding in this Phinda area.
