Ambiance
I stayed three nights in the Phinda Rock Lodge and relished its peaceful, intimate ambiance. Its secluded feel is ideal for honeymooners, anniversary celebrants, and other loving couples. It's also perfect for a group of friends wishing to book an entire lodge.
Size
The Phinda Rock Lodge is small. It has only six suites accommodating a total of 12 guests.
Suites
Each of the six Rock Lodge suites is a separate structure and built on a steep mountain face. All have a triple-level, curvaceous African-adobe design - and a private terrace and plunge pool offering views of a nearby forested mountain crowned with the Leopard Rock. The bed is king-sized.
Communal
areas
They include a cozy sitting area and an atmospheric dining room. The perched veranda with its grand view is also a satisfying place to socialize with your lodge mates.
