Caribbean tips you can trust

Sailing the Grenadines is the ultimate Caribbean
yachting adventure. If you don't own a yacht, no problem. You can book one (fully
crewed, skipper only, or bare boat) for
several days or weeks. The prime period is from June to late March. If you're
sailing one way, book a southerly, not northerly itinerary (you'll run with
the wind rather than endlessly tack). And stay on the Caribbean side of the
islands (the Atlantic side is rougher).
British Virgin Islands and US Virgin Islands.
The north coast of this tropical Caribbean island
has several world-class golf courses that are stunningly picturesque and
unconventionally challenging. They include Half Moon, Tryall Club, and White
Witch. Keep in mind that coastal links are subject to erratic sea breezes.
Bahamas and Dominican Republic.
Their waters attract deep-water fishermen from around the world.
They come to catch marlin,
swordfish, and bonefish. The best fishing season is from late fall to late
spring.
Bahamas, Barbados, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Turks & Caicos, and US
Virgin Islands.
These Caribbean islands boast a variety of
stimulating dive spots. Stingray City on Grand Cayman is the most famous.
Belize Barrier Reef, Bonaire, Cozumel, Curacao, Honduras Bay Islands, Saba,
Turks & Caicos, and US Virgin Islands. Whatever island you choose, the
underwater visibility will be superb.
This modest-sized Caribbean island has a
combination of ideal snorkeling benefits: Vivid-hued fish, robust corals, slow
currents, and explorable shipwrecks.
Belize Barrier Reef, Cayman Islands, Cozumel, Curacao, Turks & Caicos, and US
Virgin Islands.
Hike through Dominica's rugged, rainforest-cloaked
mountainous terrain.
Belize Barrier Reef, Cayman Islands, Cozumel, Curacao, Turks & Caicos, and US
Virgin Islands.
